We use a Motorola Quantar as our repeater. Its callsign is K8LOW. It is an ‘Open’ repeater for those that use it properly. We use it to promote our hobby and to serve as a good means of communication during emergencies. We want it to provide enjoyment to its users.

The repeater controller is an Arcom RC210 with the ‘Real Time Clock’ module.

Language should be polite, courteous, and friendly—absolutely no obscene or indecent words or phrases. Politics and religion should not be discussed. Common sense and good amateur radio practices are guidelines that we adhere to.

The repeater is ‘uncoordinated’ using the following frequencies: 147.370 on the ‘Receive’; 147.970 on the ‘Output’, which is a ‘plus’ (+) 600 kHz ‘Offset’. The ‘Input’ PL (CTCSS) tone is 100.0 Hz. There is no tone on the ‘Output’.

Everyone should feel free to use this repeater. Enjoy the ‘Machine’
